I also got this brown one which seems to have hen feathering to me but is shaped like a rooster and has a long tail

The first is a silver Phoenix or maybe silver Leghorn cockerel depending on hatchery. The other is a brown Leghorn pullet.

What do you think about the gender of the first chick? They're both the same age and breed, 8 week old Red Old English Bantams. I'm worried that the first one is actually a rooster. They said they were all females but some males might get mixed in.

Ok. I think 1 and 2 are hens. 3 and 4 look rooish. And the rest are a little early to tell

Hello maribameche, Yes, I think the first is a cockerel and the second is a female

I think it's more orange'ish I looked for wattle developement, but couldn't see much
