Howdy y'all.
OK...so I ordered all hens when I ordered my chicks. Two of the chicks I ordered were Polish chicks. One is a White-Crested Black Polish, the other one is a Golden-Laced Polish. The White Crested has feathers on her head that flow back more than they stick up. The Golden-Laced has feathers on top of her head that stand up more than they flow back. The difference is huge. So is it normal for Polish of different colors to grow their topknot feathers differently at the same age, or did a male slip through in my order? Here are pics of each of them where the difference in how their head feathers lay is obvious. They are nearly 5 weeks old. Thanks in advance!

I got these SLW at TSC and they said they were all pullets, but the lady who said that didn't even know which chicks were the SLW, they had them in a ben with Buff Orpington chicks and Road Island Red chicks and I had to tell her which ones were which. Anyway I bought all ten of the SLW that they had, and I think I may have a cockerel. What do you think? This one started getting wattles at about three weeks old. They are 10 weeks now. This picture is at 5 weeks. The chick in question is the one on the left.Don't know the breed or gender of your chicks? Post here! I can help!
Looks like a Cochin mix and maybe an AustralorpAny idea what kind?
