Don't know what breed or gender you have? Click here!

Hello, I know silkies are difficult to sex when young, but would love more experienced opinions. Also i read somewhere that if they have hard feathers coming in at base of tail and color around their neck or collar area that it's a roo. Is there truth to this?

Ok I wasn't sure I thought at first he was blue laced red wyandotte but the comb is different then I thought he was blue copper maran.
Wrong coloring for both of those. He's probably a mix of many different things, over the course of several generations. No way to really tell what went into him.

Can't tell at this point, but by next week it should be pretty obvious if they are Cornish Cross. Not to be confused with purebred Cornish.
I will post another pic in a couple more days so I don't keep them and feed them as long this time. Thank you for your input junebuggena. It's very appreciated.

I don't know if anyone can tell as of yet. They are 2 weeks old tomorrow and they're supposed to be Leghorns. If you can tell, could you please help me determine Leghorns or Cornish?
