My hen just hatched 5 chicks. 2 buff orp eggs, 1 one black copper maran egg, and 2 Amerucana eggs. the problem is the dad is a Black copper maran rooster. so these chicks are full bred, they are mixed. I don't know what breed it what and if any of the mixes make a breed or anything? can anyone please tell me what breeds each chick is? and what color they are when they are born? right now I have 4 yellow chicks.. 1 has brownish striped, another one has black dots and lines. the other yellow chicks are just yellow. the 5th chick is black all over but has a white belly. they all have feathers on there feet, there dad does also

Congrats on the successful hatch. With the exception of the chick hatched from the BCM egg the chicks are all what would be considered "barnyard mix" chicks. Those hatched from Ameraucana eggs (are they true Ameraucana or hatchery grade/Easter Eggers?) may turn out to be Olive Eggers, depending on how the genetics have panned out.

here are 3 out of 5 chicks! the other 2 are just plain yellow, do you have any idea what these are? Dad is French black copper maran, the hens that Layed the eggs are 2 buff orp eggs, 1 maran egg, and 2 Amerucanas! ( the Amerucanas are full breed) please respond! :)

I'm sorry, I was wrong. the moms are either a red Sussex, white Sussex, or a buff orp or a maran, and the Amerucanas. those are the moms. we had 2 tan eggs and the 3 first ones are the tan layers.
