Maybe a Black Copper Marans x Ameraucana mix "Olive Egger" with that modified pea comb and dark slate legs.

White wing feathers coming in so not a Buff Orpington. White Leghorns are the most common "free" chick added to orders. I'm afraid that's probably what you got. Maybe a White Rock but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Crossbred, or somebody's project that isn't quite there yet. Same thing basically. Wyandotte's should have yellow legs, even the blues.

Well, hopefully she'll lay eggs.
She's a bit of a pill. Not as nice and tame as the others.
And I wonder if she will EVER get a comb!?
But she sure is pretty to look at.
She does have some yellow in her legs, but not much.
I guess she's a mutt.

I have several mystery chicks (almost 6 weeks) I am trying to decipher. 1. Is black with gold flecks and has a pea comb, #2 and 3 - are all black (blue-black in the sun)with small white tipped feathers on their wings(You can see on the 3rd pic a bit). Their skin is not black, pea combs (i think). They are smaller built.
