Don't Laugh

I know right, I would of just told them:

"I don't understand why the stork hasn't replaced your eggs with chicks yet. Your situation is beyond me."

ROFL

Thanks for the tear-inducing chuckle. I needed that.

My thoughts exactly!
So... what did you say?

I just gave them a copy of my Hovabator instructions and suggested keep the incubator inside in a stable temperature with water in the trays and set the rheostat as per the instructions. I didn't have the heart to point out the obvious problem of having fertile eggs to start. Turns out they were very successful in raising goats, they had over two hundred a couple years later---then went bust when they had no market to make a profit with them. Foresight and preplanning was not their strong point, seems they started the goat farm after coming into a inheritance and leaped without looking first. I have no idea how a goat farm was their dream.

I wonder how many times they tried to incubate eggs?

Interesting story, though.
If I inherited a bunch of money... a goat farm would not be involved in my spending plan.
(A new horse barn & an aviary might, though!)

Wow.

"You dip a feather in rooting hormone and stick it in the ground!"
