Don't pick a favorite chicken, that will be the one you lose.
I had a favorite NN, she stood on a plastic bucket it tipped on to her, and she got baked inside.
I had a favorite roo, and 2 other roos, the 2 others took him out.
I hatched out 7/7 babies. the blue one to the far left was my only SFH chick.
And she was a blue, which I haven't had yet, and she just passed away, no signs of being sick, just gone today.(not that I would have rather it had been one of the others, because I love and want them all.)
