True lol, was my son that is another thread in family section. It is his old room we are fixing. Not all done out of anger though....just destructive.

I can see why it was time for your son to start living on his own. Uf Da!

been there, done that.... and we still have 2 rooms in our house that still need renovating.....

Thank you! I was thinking last night I will never have enough time or money to do all the things I need or want to do.....I would be 100 before done.

Bet you felt nice and relaxed last night

I can't get to my inside projects cause I'm still so busy with outside/ barn projects. Needing to divide my sheep run/ yard to keep the ram away from my ewes that just lambed necessitated a new fence and stall for him. Managed to get the posts sunk in cement last weekend but had to stop to get the neighbors cows out of my pasture (another thread) since the owners finally got home after 4 days. So yesterday packaged up my 5 roosters for their new *home* and then went to work on hanging fence & hot wire, building the stall to be ram proof. Relocated him and then herded all 4 moms and 6 lambs into the main sheep pen and pandemonium set in... lots of Baaaa, Baaaa, where's my baby! Baaaaa! Oh and I could not pass up chicks at the feed store too.. had to get them settled as well

I'm thinking power sander and nice big flat surface to make smooth? That's a break from barn chores

Yeah at about 2 am....lol.

Sounds like much fun.....I will be doing some farm work this coming weekend and next week or sure. We ordered a starter for our tractor that was $320 and should be here the end of the week. If its not windy as ever I will be out there.

Oh man I feel your pain!

Two Springs ago I redid a room my dad had drywalled. Nothing in there was anywhere near level, straight, flat, etc. Eons ago I had used wall paper to cover some of the issues with the drywall.

I swear I used 10 gallons of mud! And sanded off at least 5!

But it sure looks good now! When you get yours done, you will start forgetting what it took to get there!

I should add, we are having the next room done shortly........I already bought the mud
