Dont think its a Golden Comet.. do you?

Hi ~

I was told this little peeper was a Comet, but she doesnt look like it to me. Can anyone guess what else she might be? (I hope its a she!)

4 weeks old - her tail feathers are much bigger than her roo-mate, and she is feathering much faster. She looks a bit like my Leghorns, but I am wondering if she cold be a white rock?

or a SexLink cockerel. Might be a Golden Comet after-all. Give the wattles and comb another week to 10 days. If they grow and are red? Congratulations. You've got yourself a cockerel.

Thanks for posting the pic, Fred's Hens. That really demonstrates the point nicely. I agree that it's most likely a Comet male. I had one in my order as well.

Where did you get the chicks from? Was it a hatchery or a local farm/feed store? I got mine from TSC a few months ago. Pulled from a bin that claimed to be red pullets. Brought them home, and they all feathered out white. So from there, we figured out that they are actually white rocks.
