The thermostat on my LG shorted out. When I plug it in the little light wont come on, even if I turn it up all the way. I'd like to find a wafer thermostate that way I way I can install two in order to have one as a backup.

you can wire a back-up with a solid state also.. the solid states can be purchased from miller mfg
for about $20.oo plus shipping..

edit.. I just had the same trouble with one of my LG 's.. all it was a wire came loose from a wire nut near the thermostat..
