Slight difference in texture, not much though. Well worth a try if you ever have the chancethey can cause extreme flatulence which Is of course a common problem with that particular breed of dog. Quite possibly the reason they were pied in the first place.

I’ve said before that I’d try them (there’s basically nothing I wouldn’t try) but they look they are a torture device from hell. Given where they originated that’s not to surprising though.

It’s not live rock, it is RealReef Branch Rock (ie dry fake rock). It is normally expensive AF but I scored a few small pieces for dirt cheap at my LFS. I am attaching the pieces together to make something exactly the size and shape I need for my tank. BUT I have never used cyanoacrylate gel glue dry before (I usually use it underwater). It stayed tacky for muuuuch longer than expected. So I spent an hour holding the pieces together rather than risk setting it down and having it fall apart or get stuck to a table or something. Plus who doesn’t need a small fake coral scepter?

Nice! Yeah, I've super glue gelled myself to some frags before. That's always fun. It looks like Tonga branch, but pretty nonetheless even if it is fake. lol Now we need obligatory tank pics.
