I had a little bit of a panic today because we moved our pigs over to some fresh woods and one of my newer cats, Romeo, went under the electric fence into their pen. Both of the pigs went on high alert and started chasing him. Thankfully, he slipped out of the pen in time, but I was so scared that they were going to catch him and eat him.
They are ravenous beasts! But luckily they themselves taste fantastic 🤤👌

Wow, I'm actually sort of impressed! I never thought a pig would actually kill an animal. I knew they are omnivorous.

News headlines
Farmers mad as pack of pigs wipe out entire flock of chickens, killing and eating them all.
Farmer says he fears for the general publics safety after what has happened.
I was very impressed. All these years of raising them and not once has one of my pigs eaten a chicken! The Kune Kune regularly have a chicken "piggy backing" on their wide backs.

Oh and BTW, if you need to get rid of a body chuck it into a pig pen. They go through bones like butter. Remove the teeth first though😉👍

I'm not sure that piece of advice is particularly useful, but thank you anyway. 😄

I remember hearing a story about a serial killer in Canada that would feed his victims to his pigs. Don't know how long ago or if it's even true but gross. Bacon, however, not gross😂

Robert Pickton. I think it's true. There's a lot to that story...
Hmmm, don't know if I want to look that up or not! Anyways, did my extra for today. Loaded and hauled 2 cords of firewood. Have to dump it tomorrow from the trailer and stack it in it's proper place. We usually get ecobricks for our wood burner but their price (along with everything else) has sky rocketed so we went back to old school firewood for this year
