Spent an hour chipping branches so I could put the chipper away for the winter.

It’s leaf raking time again for me but I have to wait for them to dry a bit

It started snowing today!!! I am NOT ready. The snow blower is not on the tractor yet. It is my first winter with it. The JD guy is coming over to do it for me the first time. I hate being a girl sometimes! Gassed up the little blower for the time being. It wont stick but it is definitely coming. The lake is warmer than usual this year which will make things a challenge for sure. So glad I got the blower attachment on Jane Doe, John Deere’s pretty girlfriend.

Also have to put the panels on the run so the girls have a windbreak. So behind the 8 ball. I’m battling alligators at work…long story that depending on which side of the aisle your on determines whether you would agree with the battle….nuf said.

Did core tonight and some stretching. Officially lost all of the COVID weight, now I need to simply knock the chip off my shoulder and start getting my regular extra in every day.

Let’s go!!!!

I never rake the leaves. My sand dune needs every bit of organic matter it can get. I let them lay where they fall or blow to.

We tilled the ones from the aviary net into the soil. But the oaks in the front yard drop way too many leaves for me to disperse

I rake as many leaves as I can into my run for the girls. The rest get chopped with the mower
