Haha Trying to get me in trouble ? I have noticed/people have said the same thing. I am like that in person. I clam right up for the most part. There are some people that I click with right away and you cant shut me up but dont put me in a room full .

HELP Please, setting up a new tank . I have gravel I washed from when I was setting the other tanks up. It was put into a container wet and sealed shut w/ a locking plastic lid. Is it safe to use now ? I can imagine either mold or good bacteria on it . LOL Hoping I dont have to rinse it again because , well, Im lazy.
BTW, I have about 75 guppies, my 8 angel fish are growing like a weed and my snail hatched littles. I counted 30 that has doubled in size . Yup, I can almost see them now.Today I have started on a 26 gal bow front tank. Its on a square table. I have made a tree for it. I want to say a bonsai but it literally turned out huge. It has the light but missing the lid for $15.00 Had filter and stand. I dont like metal stands especially when they dont bow w/ the tank.
My PH is off the charts. Dark blue . last one on the chart is light blue w/a reading of 7.8 I believe. So its over 8. My tap water reads 7.8 Water change time ?

Your rocks could be okay. Give them a sniff. Any off odor and I would rinse them again.

That's a lot of guppy. You inspired me. I bought a few guppy today along with some platy, Angel fish, and gouami. I set up a 29 for the live bearers.

I believe alkaline water is okay. Acidic can be bad for many species.

My water comes out of the tap at around 6 ph, and buffers up to around 8 eventually. My fish do fine at that ph.

Did you !! What color did you get? The first batch of babies are half the size of parents. Mama is huge for a guppy. Colorful too. red tail and half black body.
And angels too? Always my favorite.
So if it dont stink use it. I will have to get someone else to smell it. My sniffer has been broken since I had chckens. LOL
