I have been thoroughly absorbed by BYC for the past month....taking in as much info a possible as a new chicken owner. But what I absolutely cannot stand is to click on the link to someone's BYC page...and have nothing show up!!!!! Particularly when they have a really cool avatar of a fabulous coop or bird and you want to find out more about it. That is plain teasing! Arghh!

I have to admit that I hate that too. I think some folks get a little overwelmed trying to make a BYC page so they just give up.

Keep in mind that some people don't have time to build/create their page. Like mine, for instance, I haven't even started on my page, because I am too busy, and am not very good with computers, so gave up trying.

The Internet is getting harder to use, not easier. It's happening slowly but it's happening. I get by on VERY little money and have decided I should set up a PayPal and an Etsy page for stuff I make. $10 a day is big money for me. But I'm also prepared for when the Internet becomes more trouble than the time spent on it is worth.

I think I can have a nice page here if I join as a Golden Feather and even for someone living on as little as I do, it looks like a killer deal. Right now it's just plain HTML, I didn't find it that hard to start that.

Yes, I do hate to click over to a blank page.. And thanks to your post, it prompted me to finish mine by finally uploading some photos to the jabber that I had on there. Thanks!!
