I hope Doogie duck continues to feel better! Ever since seeing that first picture I've been bugging Joseph is get me a little white doogie duck. lol. When we went to the zoo the other day, I saw a little white call and said, "That's a doogie duck and I want one!"
Egg binding issues can be scary and hard to get over. I do wish you the best of luck. Giving her some olive oil on her peas will help. If you decide to do an enema, I suggest using a turkey baster. Victor duck got egg bound last spring (no shell, just goop) and I used a turkey baster to clean it out up there with just warm water. I know CoopCrazy suggested mineral oil... I've never done that, but I wouldn't mind knowing more about how to do that...
If Doogie can be placed in a luke warm tub of water, that might help her relax. It seems when they get egg bound, they get upset and frustrated, and they go into a panic. Keeping them calm will help reduce that extra stress. If Doogie is not in a tub, but seems stressed you can wipe her feet with some water or alcohol (the rubbing kind) to help her keep cool. Dark also helps.
