Doolittle the goose

He is the little guy in the avatar, hatched by a standard black Cochin hen...he was a singleton and I got three baby ducks from chickenzoo to raise with him so he would not be alone...he still hangs with the ducks and has not decided he is a goose just yet...but this morning he showed his stuff...I was walking a Chihuahua that I am boarding and went down the fence line of the duck/goose yard...the ducks were curious about the little dog but Doolittle took issue...he came to the fence between his ducks and the little dog, dropped his head and started hissing...one of the funniest things I have seen yet from the geese...he was making quite a loud hiss with mouth wide open and tongue wagging...hilarious but glad to see he will defend his friends...he has turned out to be quite handsome...and a good goose...he follows me around and chatters at me, very curious about everything I am doin

NONONONOOOOO!!! No goose napping allowed...he has to stay here with his ducks...they would miss him and he them...me too...he is the first goose I ever hatched, well, that hatched on my ground...I did not sit on the egg...my fluffy Cochin hen did all the work...she sat long and hard and with total dedication...if she were a dog, I would have bought her a steak...as it was, she had water melon, diced tomatoes, and other assorted treats...she loves oatmeal as does her baby goose...these five geese are the first geese I have ever owned, well, that consented to remain on my ground...owned is too strong word as I am their servant and I think it is the blue feed bucket they love rather than myself...I have no illusions about my importance in their life...a human type visitor suggested I kill and cook them as he had had roasted goose and thought it quite good...I did not know if I should bop him over the head or just throw up...EAT MY GOOSE?!?! Nevah!!!! Something in their eyes says, "Don't even think about it...we will haunt you if you try that."

If someone suggested I eat my goose I'd suggest they try roasted human children.
I've heard the Mayans thought human is quite tasty roasted.
