not enough barring for barred rock what is the leg color

My barred rock looked just like this. If it's hatchery quaintly they do vary from the ideal.

Thats in fact a barred rock. However it is a cockerel. Sorry for the news!

I never buy from TSC. Too many oops to keep track of. I only buy from atwoods or online at ideal now.

Must be a rash of these. We have had several posts of individuals who thought they had asian blacks from TSC I believe and they look just like your babies. They all resemble Barred Rocks wait till older for sex, can take up to 17weeks to tell roos for sure sometimes. I bought my babies from mypetchicken.com who purchased from Meyer Hatchery. I like Meyer Hatchery very much and no errors here with good stock. It is more costly to ship than buy in local store but if you do not care what breed type you get then take the savings and enjoy the hens. Barred Rocks are great tried and true breed for large brown eggs for 4-5 plus a week. Have fun!

Well, it looks like you have 2 different comb styles on these birds in the pictures! And those two breeds you mentioned have 2 different combs, I think. Other than that, I am not an expert here and have only had 2 barred rocks of my own, never a Dominque. Good Luck!

The most noticeable difference between the two breeds is the comb. The Dominique sports a rose comb, which has an upturned spike, while the Barred Rock has a single comb. Another major difference is the coloring and barring. ... The overall carriage of the Dominique is more upright than the Barred Rock.

Top one has a rose comb. Not a barred rock. Most likely a dominique. The rest have single combs and are most likely barred rocks. All pictured are cockerels.
