Dooped by TSC

I bought four "Asian Black" pullets from TSC, and now I am being told they are not ABs. Can anyone help me identify these cuties? I am not as concerned of breed/kind, I am more concerned that they are pullets and not roos. Thanks!!

That looks like either a Barred Plymouth Rock or a Cuckoo Marans.

Barred rock, too early to tell room or hen, but looking at the wing stripes tells me it’s most likely a roo. If I’m wrong on the breed, it means I could be wrong on the gender too

So sorry! TSC is notorious for mixing Bh up the breed in the chick pens. They appear to be barred rocks.

Welcome! I also think it's a BR, probably a cockerel. It's certainly not a black bird!

Leg color is important, because if it’s a cuckoo Marans, the darkness of the legs determines the gender

Legs are very light colored, which if I am not mistaken indicates a roo. And I have 4 of them.
