door fault?

I just bought a new automatic chicken door
Wanted to change opening mode from "light" to "time"
First I changed opening mode, but when attempting to set the right time (on the day), the text on the screen suddenly disappeared. Although the batteries were new (showed 100%) I took them out and connected the power adaptor, but the text is still missing, so I cannot control the automatic door.
When I turn power off and on again the text reads something like "Omlet Chicken door version something" and after that the text disappears again
What seems to be the problem? Can anyone help?

Did you try to reset the setting?
Your brand of automatic door is different from mine, so this may or may not work. Although, you could try to lock the setting your wanting by holding the main button or "opening button" you use to turn the door "on" after adjusting the "time" you wanted for this individual setting. So, your automatic door will reset and process itself to the setting and setting times you secured.
