Door & Privacy/Lighting Problem! Any Suggestions For a Non-Decorator?

What type of area does the door open into? Could you get a free standing decorative panel or privacy screen? (They are sometimes called dressing screens, room dividers, or folding walls.) They have all sorts of different ones. A lot of them are translucent and would still let light through but wouldn't be so revealing of you and yours. You could also set it aside when you want full light and put it up when you want privacy.

I was gonna say window film as well. Home depot has a bunch of different kinds. We put some on our old house door's sidelights that were opaque with etched palm leaves in them. They were pretty and very easy to apply.
