When you have an open door (chicken sized) to the secure run, how much ventilation does this account for if its blocked from direct wind?

Your pop door is take in air ventilation. You need ventilation openings up high near roof line, for bad air to escape.

This applies to chicken coops''''
Definition of proper ventilation;; continuous good air flow throughout coop.
Definition of DRAFT;; when air or wind is directed such , that it ruffles chickens feathers.
This is why ventilation that is used during cold weather is never at chicken roosting level. Summer time when hot, it is fine to open windows and screened doors regardless of position in coop.

WISHING YOU BEST............... :highfive:

A typical pop door is about 1 sq ft. I don't count doors (human or chicken) as ventilation as they'd be closed at night for me.
