Dora was hurt a couple of years ago in a fight and ended up with a head injury and is blind in her left eye with limited vision in her right eye.She will bump the feeder and water to find it. At feeding time I would just put her inside the feed bin while I did other chores to make sure she got "extra". This past week I heard a terrible screaming coming from one of the pens. I looked out and it was Dora being beaten by a Bard Rock hen named Delilah. I took Dora and placed her in with some 3 week old chicks I had ordered from Cackle. Low and behold I go out to feed them this morning and she is clucking and calling them to her!!!!!!!! She has been doing this for 2 days now. They are sitting under her and she is now a MOM!!!!! I am so glad for her !! Just wanted to share !
