What is the best dual purpose bird in a moderate climate (Alabama) when the focus is on meat product

My silver gray is definitely not mature yet and he is about 7 lbs and is very breasty. I am not going to eat him because he is the only one I have lol but I will be definitely getting some this spring to see what they taste like.
 
I got them as hatching eggs from Emma Ruggiero at the poultry palace. They all were very good type and are great examples of what I am looking for in the breed.

They are hefty and I love their personalities they are so laid back and easy going. Can't wait until their eggs get big enough to put in the incubator they just started laying in November and aren't very consistent yet.
 
If it helps I have black bresse but haven't eaten any, but they are suppose to be wonderful. What I can tell you is they are very laid back non aggressive birds which to me is important. Good Luck!!
