I would create a hatching calendar (here is my October calendar below). I Also when adjusting the temperature and humidity opening and closing the vents will help.

I have had the power go out a couple of times while I was incubating. Once the incubator went to 78 degrees before I noticed it (it was in the middle of the night). I did have a DC power supply and inverter. I plugged the incubator into the inverter which was plugged into the power supply. My temperature recovered and stayed until my power came back on. I had been out for several hours. I still had a good hatch. Just a suggestion for anyone who lives in an area where they may have power outages once in awhile.
