Do's and Dont's of buying Eggs online

what are the Do's and Dont's of buying Eggs online, what can I do to increase the hatch rate as I bought 6 a month ago and only one hatched . They usually arrive, 1 to 2 days after being shipped

This is my first time buying shipped eggs I bought 6 Marans took 2 days to get to me and seller sent one extra
I also bought 6 Faverolle took 4 days and I’ve had nothing but trouble 3 of 6 broke but seller sent me 6 replacements which I thought was exceptionally nice but by the time they arrived I had already had the others in incubator nearly a week
I panicked started reading everything on making diy one we couldn’t afford a new incubator well anyway all the turning was done in my farm innovators 4250 while I tried to get the Hatcher going all the time mind you I’m really inexperienced with hatching and incubation

3 of 6 Marans hatched one day late
1 Faverolle hatched 3 days late
And I have another lockdown in 2 days

I’m still going to purchase shipped eggs just not too different sellers at the same time

I have found buying eggs closer to where i live have a better hatch rate. I avoid buying them if they have to be shipped across the country. Also try locally on craigslist.

I am waiting on my eggs to pip, 6. They are on day 20. Candle wise it looks like may be one day behind. (day 20 started this evening.)
