Dosage for deworming with Safeguard Equine Paste

Hi. Please help me with the suggested dosing for my hens. They (10 hens) range in age from two years to 19 weeks, 8 1/2 lbs to 3 lbs. I had the poop tested at the the vet they said they couldn't detect any worms. I have been seeing at least one 1 cm white worm in various dropping on the ground as soon as they are pooped out. I have never dewormed my flock. They have about 200 sq feet of an inside and outside run, sand inside and dirt (raked nightly ) outside. They are on a no corn no soy organic layer feed with meal worms given daily as a treat.
I read that I need to give a pea size amount per hen. Is that one time a day for 3-5 days or 1 time? Do I need to repeat in 14 days?

I cannot say for certain what size you have purchased, but i think i syringe can treat upto 1200lbs. And it should work out to about 5mg per 2.5 lbs or close to it, so the dosage for ur 3lb bird will be different/smaller than the 8lb bird. I know ivermectin is very forgiving, I wouldnt feel comfortable advising a guesstimate unless someone here has specifically used that medication for chickens before. If it is like IVM its a one time dose, repeat in 6 mos for maintenance... thats for bigger animals. Is there anything available to you thats more diluted than equine paste?

Thank you for your help. The liquid goat safeguard is available. I just wanted a medicine that was easier on us to administer to each hen. I also wanted to be sure that the ones I know for sure have worms (I saw it in their poop) get the dose. My hens are picky and won't eat bread (if I try to add the medicine to it).

Safeguard (Fenbendazole) dose is 0.23ml per pound of weight given orally once, then repeated in 10 days to treat Roundworms only.
If you are wanting to treat of other types of worms including Roundworms, but not Tapeworms, give for 5 days in a row, no repeat.

The label on the horse paste is dosing for horses, not poultry.
Poultry dosing for Fenbendazole is 50mg/kg which for the horse paste would translate to 0.23ml per pound of weight, not 5mg per 2.5lb.
Ivermectin also has a dose by weight. It's 1mg/kg in case you need that. It does have a repeat in 10 days. Ivermectin is not that effective a dewormer in poultry anymore.
