Pour on.For which product? The 1% injectable, the 0.05% pour-on, or the sheep drench?
yes it says sheep drenchThere are three types.
Does your bottle say drench?
- Pour on - which is meant to be given on the skin
- Injectable - can be given by injection or orally
- Drench for sheep - orally only.
Okay, the amount you suggested is not for sheep drench.Pour on.
it is pour
I thought it was pour on..my bad.Okay, the amount you suggested is not for sheep drench.
Sheep drench is less concentrated than the injectable and the pour on. One ml of your sheep drench = 0.8 mg.yes it says sheep drench
Yes thank youSheep drench is less concentrated than the injectable and the pour on. One ml of your sheep drench = 0.8 mg.
The dose for poultry is no less than 0.2 mg per kilogram of body weight. The formula to calculate the chicken dose is:
Weight of bird in pounds, divide by 2.2, times 0.2, divide by 0.8 = number of ml to give.
Example
Does that help at all?
- 1 pound - 1 / 2.2 x 0.2 / 0.8 = 0.1136 ml per one pound
- 5 pounds - 5 / 2.2 x 0.2 / 0.8 =0.568 ml per five pounds
Can you get Safe-Guard instead?Yes thank you
