Dosage of Milk Thistle?

We have a Delaware that had fluid in her abdomen. I think it's coming back. She was drained at the vet and we are treating the entire flock for worms. I would like to treat our Delaware with milk thistle. I put some on scramble eggs, which she loves but I think she could smell it and ate very little. I purchased a liquid form. I'm wondering what forms people have purchased and how they have given dosages to their hens.
