Dosages for Denagard???

NPIP typically does not test for MG.... or lots other infectious diseases. You can be NPIP certified and STILL pass along diseases in eggs and birds. NPIP is NOT a National Program and is different in each state. Just thought I would throw that out there. There are NO GUARANTEES with chickens.... NPIP or not. You still need to quarantine and watch.....

You are right. However, if you have turkeys here, you must do an MS/MG test on them to get your NPIP. I no longer have turkeys, so I need not worry with that.

Honestly, I was not as impressed with the Denagard as I have been with the Tylan. All the birds I treated orally with Tylan right when I saw a problem with them, cleared up in a day or just a little more, those I treated with just Denagard had a much tougher time or I lost them. This fall was a hard lesson to learn, but I have learned a few things regardless. I am keeping both on hand to make sure I do not get caught without the proper meds if I do have any crud finding its way in.

As for the testing, I am hoping to get all my birds done this week with a warm system hanging around. At least I will know if any test for P/T. That is all that is required here. It would be nice if there was an across the board national certification though so you don't have so many variances going on. BUT that would include the same red tape as all the other national programs, so maybe that wouldn't be so nice.
