My hen, Opal, has been experiencing what looks very much like sour crop. I've been researching on what to give her, and I found out that one of the things I can give her that I already have is Duramycin. My only question is, how much? The bag has dosages for other illnesses, like something related to the air sacs (I forget what they called the illness). SHould I just follow this dosage, or should it be more/less powerful? If more information is needed, let me know!

Hi,
I believe it is 1 tbls to 1 gallon of water. I went through hell once trying to find out as well. None of these antibiotics have easy read and decipher directions.

Good luck with Opal. I hope she's feeling better soon!

and I just want to add, that the mixture needs to be made fresh everyday. The meds are only good for a 24 hour period. So mix it everyday
