hi i am getting more eggs than i used to and the two things that i changed are that i am putting more hay in my nest box and putting all new hay in it once a day and the other thing that i am doing is that i set up lights on my coop that run from dusk to 10PM do you think that these could have brought on better egg laying or do you think that they have nothing to so with it and also what else can i do to increase egg production
thanks

The artificially increased daylength plus the normal seasonal increase is most likely what has started the increase in egg production. The hay guarantees that you receive nice clean eggs and is a great idea.
