Dose my duck have a fever?

Might be - depends on what is going on. But unusually hot feet and legs could indicate an infection. But for infection, I think for usually there would be something - a cut, a swelling - that would clue you in.

I believe the standard duck body temperature is around 104F.

@casportpony, how do we check a duck's temperature?

What is the duck behaving like, otherwise? Eating? Drinking? Breathing okay?

Maybe it's just warm out.

I think my deck louie might have bumble feet I just noticed like maybe three hours ago. He seems to have a fever just because his leg is so warm and swollen. We did give him a bath, hoping that whatever was on his foot would soften and fall off well that did not happen so then tried peroxide dried it off that didn’t work and we tried Epson salt bath. Now he is resting isolated from the others in the tub with his feet wrapped. But I think he has an infection. Is there anything I can give him I’m worried? Also he seems to be real lethargic after the bath. Any insight would be great. Can I send you a picture?

Post some pictures of his foot. Do you have any antibiotics human or animals? Most of the time we have to open up the bumlbe to get out the infection but let's see what Louies looks like first.
