Dostwo lavender chickens always create a lavender chicken?

I have been thinking of starting a breeding project and was wanting to know if a Jersey Giant lavender roo bred with a lavender hen of another breed would always result in lavender chicks? I am wanting to add size into my line without undoing the coloring of the next generation

Yes. Because the lavender color is recessive, both parents will have 2 copies of the gene and will pass them on to their offspring.

Just watch out. That jersey giant is going to contribute yellow skin and brown eggs. Also a single comb genetics. Have you considered that? Feather color and body size isn't the only thing going into the mix, I wonder what breed you're working on? Maybe bigger isn't better.
What about another breed with more aligned genetics. Even if it doesn't give you lavender chicks?

So my idea is to create a bird that is extra large, lavender in color and lays blue eggs, I've been been crossing lavender cochins with a lavender Americauna roo and vice versa. I started with 15 of each breed and have determined I'd like to bring the size up some more, and I like the look of the lavender jerseys. I'm ok with reintroduction of the brown eggs because I'm not planning on breeding them in until I have the blue eggs stabilized so far I'm getting greenish blue and brown eggs. I'm about to hatch out another batch of the bluest ones in there and see what they lay, then I'll cross them back against some fresh lavender Americauna roos I'm getting from a friend of mine. I have 2 pens set with 2 roosters each pen with a 2 other pens set with 3 f1 cockerels and 7 f1 hens that are laying now

I googled the lavender chicken varieties and Orpingtin came up. Those are big ones too.

I read once that when breeding lavenders it is good to bring in some black genetics now and then. Might be worth looking in to if you haven't already come across that.
