I chased after her trying to see if she’d squat, I was hoping today’s blue egg was hers, but nope! She’s going to take her sweet time  (JellyBean was actually kind of early, not even my Wyandotte has started and she’s been reddened up for weeks!)

Cherokee is gorgeous! How old is she? What breed? Yes, everyone, please keep sharing pictures!
She says thanks! She is 6 years old. She’s an OTTB (off track thoroughbred) who believes that every time I groom her it means to go roll in mud, no not dirt... mud. I’m still working on fattening her up because she was really skinny. She’s eating her hay right now.

@Dottie the Chicken So I took your advice and fed one of them a carrot treat. She let me pet her and her friends also came over. Next time I’m gonna go into the pasture because I know the others won’t hurt me. She was fine with me petting her which I found shocking.
The cow in the first and second pictures is sooo cute! I love her spots!

She seemed to like it. It was a carrot treat for horses, it’s small and they are easy enough to chew. Aww do you breed and sell the babies?
We sell the bull calves and occasionally a heifer. Because the twins were a boy and girl combo, the heifers don't usually do well for reproduction animals.
