Double deck brooder!

Hmm, that might work. Because if you keep the chicks on the top level when they are young but they still have access to the bottom level, if one goes down it might not know how to get back up and will die on cold.

Also, a double deck brooder is cool because if you have two heat sources you could raise to batches of chicks!
That's what I was thinking! One night I wasnt feeling well and forgot to close the coop, and the next morning over half my birds were dead! So I took all the eggs I could find and shoved them into my incubator, now I have 20 babies hatching out on the 21st!

Oh whoops! I forgot to incorporate the overall dimensions.
Length: 5"
Width: 2"
Height 4"
But Feet (')
not inches(")
Correct?
Can you make it 4' x 5' x 2' tall?
This is going to be outside, on it's own, not in an already predator proof run?
It'll need a good roof to shed rain and be completely predator proof.

Well, I'm raising it a foot off the ground, and I'm planning on making it predator proof with a folding door that covering it during the night
