I have never had one look like that if you look like a fusion line in middle of egg so crazy!By the size it's most likely a double yolker (two yolks released at once) or just a long egg. It isn't a call for alarm, just an off looking egg.
It's long and bumpy because the chicken's insides only get so big, so the egg comes out long instead of perfectly uniform shape. It would be more comfortable to let out than a perfect looking egg of the same weight.I have never had one look like that if you look like a fusion line in middle of egg so crazy!
Sadly, tis' the life of a hen to let out a big egg almost every day. Maybe your chickens are whispering to you to give them extra treats!feel bad for the poor chicken
It was a double yolk very large yolk to we ate them for dinner! It is a younger gem she only been laying for maybe a month or two. She my midnight majesty hen. That's pretty cool looking. Is it any bigger in diameter than her normal egg? When you crack it let us know how many yolks it has. Is this a young layer? Pullets often do glitchy things until their egg machinery gets properly up and running.
