Me too! I left it up for Hubby to enjoy and he thought it was pretty super too... AND THEN EXPRESSED THAT HE MIGHT LIKE A ROOSTER SOME DAY?!?!? He has been anti-rooster from the beginning!
We were totally anti-rooster at first too! We'd read so much about how aggressive they could be and *ahem* overly amorous of the hens, etc. but (and maybe we got lucky) our boy has not been any real trouble so far. About the only problem has been that he seems to have particularly bad vision when it's dim outside. If I let them out of the coop in the morning and it's still too dark out he'll start going after the hens. I think he can't see them well enough and is trying to protect them from themselves! Well the solution has been that if it's a little too dark yet I'll just let him out by himself to run around alone in the run until it's brighter. Overall he has been much more of an asset than a burden!
UPDATE!! We cracked it open, and it had 3 blood spots in it. Of course, wife freaked out and couldnt eat, so I shared it with the dogs, lol. Didn't taste any different. OH!...and it was just one yolk, but really "runny"....
