So my ducks who have been laying for 2 months gave me a double yolk! I am so so proud of them. Then it got me thinking....I am a twin...would the egg be a "twin" if there were 2 yolks. This is a very strange question, but that is what duck owners do right? Ask strange questions! I have never done a poll before so decided to try it out. I would love some info on this too! Thanks!

On this note...I think my drake likes to sit on the nest???.....Every time I go see my ducks and they are in the coop he always is walking or getting up out of the nest. I am a little confused...Thanks again!

Yes there are twin eggs! Someone recently hatched twin chicks in their incubator and posted pics all along the way. Most twins don't make it, or only one does.
My rooster goes into the nest and calls his girls. I assume drakes would do the same?

Thanks for the help guys! I am so happy that they could be a twin(like me...I am a twin)! Yes my drake loves his girls!!! Must want to cheer them on when laying there egg..thanks!
