Hello! I just started an incubation earlier this week and wanted to see how far they had come. When I picked up the first egg I saw that 2 ducks were developing inside. This has never happened before and I usually try not to put the extra large eggs in my incubator. However, This wasn't an egg you would expect to have 2 yolks. Should I take it out of the incubator?

There have been instances where some have hatched double yolk eggs - generally with assistance. Generally that are unsuccessful at hatching.

It's rare for them to hatch but not unheard of. Maybe since they are developing and seem healthy as of now you could see where it goes? They will likely not make it but it would be an interesting journey. Just be aware of possible deformities or an early hatch with that one if they make it that far! It's honestly your choice but I think if they seem like they're developing at the same rate I would see what happens. They would definitely need assisting if it is successful. If you don't think you are prepared to handle the possible consequences of hatching doubles I would toss it.
