My hens have just started laying eggs, pullet sized so far. There have been a few eggs that were large and double yolked. My question is... will that hen always lay double yolkers?

Unlikely that she will continue to ALWAYS lay double yolkers. However, she likely will lay more later in her life than her flockmates. Hens that lay lots of doubles burn out much quicker than hens that lay singles. They deplete their bodies of fat much quicker, and lose the yellow color in their legs, beaks and skin.

When my pullets started laying I got several double yokers. As they have gotten older now I get them once in awhile.
