Wow, that's really great! and that it all happened naturally without any intervention!
Congratulations!
I'd love to see updated pics of them (and the egg they came out of)

so now that you've had success with this, do you think you'd ever try it again?

i will get updated photos this evening when i put everyone in the brooder. success once is lucky second time is asking for trouble. i have incubated one of this hens eggs in the past with one chick just fine next time i will candle first too check how many yolk blobs are in there but i wouldn't set a double yolker on purpose even with one success under the belt.

well you can defiantly tell the twins daddy was my EE the two chicks with chipmunk backs are the twins the one in the corner sleeping is the bottom chick defiantly smaller than the larger chick in the dog pile for food but both are doing great!

That's so wonderful! I have a double yolker in the bator now and I really don't know if I have two babies or not, its a brown egg and I couldn't tell when I candled. Tomorrow is hatch day for the big eggs, so I'm hoping for the best. I haven't posted anything about it yet, since double yolkers are so contraversial!

Congratulations! That's so cool that you didn't even have to help and they still made it!
