Double yolker, polish cross

I saw a YouTube video on an assisted hatching of “egg twins” (did not appear to be in the US). Not sure how the chicks developed afterwards, but they looked good and no obvious deformities.

I had a shipped chicken egg with a double yolk…yes very cool to see twins develop! Mine passed before lockdown but I am sending yours my prayers!

Day 17, we lockdown tomorrow. Twin egg completely dark except for a very small air pocket.

11/16 eggs going into lockdown. SEND PRAYERS

My math is off.

I set the eggs midday on Friday the 17th. I still have a couple of days...
I guess we will know by this weekend how it all worked!

Alas the twins didn't make it, carefully opened up the egg to see what was going on and they were fully formed, but never piped.
8 chicks so far, 2 more late bloomers working their way out

Not really. Poor things made it to birth only to suffocate. It is what almost always happens with twins which is why I would not incubate a double yolk egg.
