Double Yolks??

hey wat breed of chick is that in ur avatar because i have exactly the same chick and what gender is it ?????

Not sure whose avatar we're talking about.....but if it's mine...then left to right....Dark Brahma roo, largely obscured, Gold Brahma roo, Border Collie (!) and then Warren.....a production hen (RIR X Light Sussex)....also sometimes known as ISA Warren. I think the old ISA Brown was a cross between RIR and RIWhite.

The old girl in my avatar is aged 6 and beyond egg laying.

hi branksy here,im getting d yolkers 2 first week from 2 young girls,n . h reds, my question is would you get chicks from them, i know my dorking roos enjoying those red feathers. thanks.

I have six and one of the just started laying last week at 15 weeks old. Got a double yolk yesterday and the egg was large. I didn't know what to think of it until I got on here and started reading about it. Doesn't seem to be anything to worry about.

Question, a friend bought some eggs from a food club she's a member of and it had a normal yolk and egg whites but there was a hard "thing" that was about an inch big and looked like something curled up. Can a egg that is a double yolk have one become fertilized and then still have a yolk?
