Double yorkers

Although I grew up with chickens, this is my first flock that is all my own doing. I recently rebuilt a chicken coop where a previous one existed my entire life...and they just started laying a week ago. In the past week I have gotten three double yokers. From memory...and I used to gather the eggs frequently growing up...getting an obvious double wasn’t overly common. Is this normal when they start laying or do I have a Michael Jordan of chickens? I know it’s the same one laying them because she’s the only one that lays in a specific nesting box area. I would be happy to have more eggs like this that go beyond the highest weight on the scale. It’s so big it won’t fit in my circa 1950’s dry egg cleaner.

Especially if you have high production breeds.

It’s so big it won’t fit in my circa 1950’s dry egg cleaner.
