Started a flock of 5 Hens this spring things have been going great. Getting ready for the Jersey winter now, all sealed up no drafts so I'm hoping to get thru our first winter without any incidents. Just saying hello and what a great site.

Just a word about ventilation, it is important to have generous ventilation in a coop even in the winter, sometimes people new to chickens seal things up too tightly, which can lead to moisture and respiratory issues.

I agree with Mutts Fan, also the condensation inside can bring on frostbite in winter
