I don't know what catagory I should put this in but I think I might go doves for this one.
I have had one of my diamond doves sit on my bobwhite eggs on the avairy floor for 2 whole days. She doesn't budge unless it is for a feed and she comes straight back. She even sits still when one of my jap quails or the bobwhites come to lay an egg and is even sat on while they are laying an egg. I thought she was injured but I have a feeling she might be broody.
I have more than just her, I have males and females in my aviary so she isn't lonely and is quite capable to have her own chicks.
Should I remove the eggs? Obviously doves and quail feed their young different so I doubt it'll work...
