Doves and Pigeons together??

Will Doves and Pigeons get along?

I want a few Homers and my wife wants Doves. Can I keep them in the same loft?

I used to have pigeons. And some one at my work caught a escaped ring neck dove. I didnt have any where to keep it. So I put it in with my homers and rollers.. The dove got beat up on so I had to remove it. I remodeled a rabbit hutch for him. And I put an injured homer in with it later.. And those two got along fine.

Maybe my dove just got on my pigeons nerves. He tried to steal the ladies.. LOL
