We have a 2-3yo hen that has been with this owner for 2 months. (I’m a small animal vet with no exotic experience helping a tech out.)
She wants to lay down and hold her eyes closed. Runny stool, no blood.
Temp is 104.5F. Respiratory wise she seems fine - normal rate and effort, clear eyes and nose.
We saw coccidia on direct. We took rads. There is not free fluid on ultrasound.
She eats laying diet and is on pine shavings. Other chickens are currently showing no signs.

I am not very good with xrays. Has she been laying eggs recently, and is she eating a drinking? If it was a large amount of coccidia seen, then I would treat with Corid liquid 2 tsp per gallon of water for 5-7 days, or sulfadimethoxine (Albon.) Hold fluids up to her beak with a tsp of sugar and a small pinch of salt per cup of water until the Corid is started. Don’t use B vitamins while on Corid.
