Dowsing for egg sex-to-be

I ran across someone that said that the "pointed" eggs were the roos and the well shaped eggs were the hens.

I have never tried this, but when you get done with your experiment, could you please tell us what the eggs looked
like ? Were they "pointed" on the little, bottom of the egg or were they just a well shaped egg.

Wow, what a bummer! Hope you get some healthy survivors.

My eggs didn't show up yesterday

Sure hope they show up today, when the temp will be in the upper 20's, and not tomorrow when the temps will be in the lower teens...

I'm glad the post office doesn't deliver too far ahead of the school bus. My youngest will drag them inside for me when they show up.

Only one so far- candling the others, I don't see movement, but I don't know if I'm supposed to . . .
I just may have baked chiclets in them

(S)he'll have a lot better chance of being an "in-house" raised chick alone than with a bunch of others, who would go out to be conditioned to being around the others sooner (& getting the smell out of the house!)
